Looking through the key findings section I can see what were the most important things picked out in this PDF file. To begin with it mentions that the computer is no longer the main entertainment hub for 14-24 year olds. I can agree with this on a personal level and admit that a computer was mot longer a main entertainment hub for me. Looking back two years ago the technology sector had advanced tremendously. I only used the computer to access the virtual side of the music sector. The use of YouTube was the main source of listening to this music. The reason why computers has had such a painful decrease is that people have become a lot more active.
listening to music on a computer requires you to be either at home, work or any other covered place. the use of MP3s enables people to listen to music on the go. This includes people that go on jogs, gym or just a general walk. This also applies to me as i go gym the use of having my phone with me to play music means that you can focus more because you block out all the other sounds that could distract you and have a hindrance on your workout. Having an MP3 or phone is just an easier way of listening to music and you can take those anywhere as appose to having  a computer which very much restricts your movement. To add on carry a computer around listening to music can be seen as a real weird and unthought-of-of of thing, which could lead to some unnecessary and unwanted attention.



This PDF file also mentions that ' Digital media still contains "50%" free music'. On average the amount paid for digital music collection that has not being paid for is well offer 50%. It also mentions that it appears to sway more towards the male population are the larger consumers of "free" content with a percentages of almost 60%. I think that the reason why the 'male' population seem to be the larger consumers of 'free' content and this point may be seen as a bit stereotypical but I think that males are more aware to technology as appose to females. Males tend to want to have the latest technology and gadgets. But they want things cheap as well and if they can get the things they want for free they would because mentally a mans mind is all about getting bargains and accessing digital music for 'free' means that they will take advantage of this feature.
